So the Friday morning blog challenge over at Sweet Shoppe is to remember the boys we were in love with way back when. I do remember several crushes...starting with Kirk Cameron, Zack and AC Slader from Saved by the Bell, a brief New Kids phase, but, come on, how many times have you seen the beach volleyball scene from Top Gun?! I can here the music now...I think I might have this movie on VHS. And if I don't, I know Kelly probably does!
Off to go house hunting in Houston for a long weekend. About the contest, be patient with me, there will be a winner!! It's been so hectic around here lately...moving in a month from NJ to TX!
I finished a new kit this weekend. It should be up in the stores by the end of the week. Damask, Diamonds, and Dots. Three of my favorite patterns and it's light and girly to boot! Here's the preview...
The ticket office here at Fort Monmouth runs trips, etc, for family entertainment. They had a scheduled trip to NYC tomorrow to see Wicked on Broadway. I, of course, didn't jump in time when the trip came out back before Christmas. I called today just to see if there was any cancellations...ONE TICKET AVAILABLE! So guess where I'm going tomorrow?? I'm so excited! Because I was lucky today, how about we make somebody else lucky? We'll run a little contest...we'll make it simple, but interesting. Leave a comment telling us about your lucky charm and I'll do a random drawing...winner gets this new kit, plus one of their choice AND a coupon for my items in the store for this weekend! Sound good?
I actally scrapped! I've been so caught up in designing, that I haven't taken the time to scrap my own kids! So I took that ballet photo and this is what I came up with...

Another Wednesday and another hybrid project over at Snap and Scrap. Just in case you're not sure of what 'hybrid' means...a little description. A hybrid project is a scrapbook project where you use both the paper scrapping method (hands-on) and digital scrapping methods (using your computer and software to arrange the goodies and then print it out). This project is a 'best work' magnet for the fridge! You can check it out here. I used the computer and my new kit, Sack Lunch, available here and here, to make a 3x5 'picture' and then printed it out on Avery magnetic sheets. Now they both have magnet to display their best work!
with this little album! And I know Nana is going to love it, too! (Sorry to ruin the surprise, Nana!) I used my new album template...available here...and just printed these out, put them in badge protectors, and attached them all with ribbons. Super cute and super easy! Check out some instructions here at the Snap and Scrap Blog. I'm now the Hybrid Blog poster for Wednesdays (with my friend Heather), so check the blog on Wednesdays for lots of cool projects!
I am so excited about how this kit turned out! Inspired by the colors in my kitchen curtains...here it is!
You can find it at Snap and Scrap and at A Cherry on Top, too!
